August 2023

The Spark - Shifted focus from recycling electronics to tackling the water crisis after finding out that 70% of plastic waste in slums comes from water bottles.

June 2024

Foundation - Created a team of 5 students and built our first UV-Safisha prototype.

January 2025

First Major Award - Won the Afrinovate Youth Challenge 2024 with a $8,500 prize for advancing our technology.

March 2025

Global Recognition - Named finalists in the Imagen Venture's Global Youth Challenge and secured a $10,000 grant.

May 2025

Community Validation - Completed a trial in Kiswa and Kasasiro slums, showing our device reduced childhood diarrhea significantly.
